Subject: Great Show!
I was at this one too! My second favorite show out of the dozen I saw. There is a little hiss, but really I am very happy with the quality. Sampson & Delilah and I Know you Rider are amazing. Only time I ever saw them play anything from Allah. Anybody else remember shuffling into this place with chants of "Cincinati." (Just a short time after the trampling of kids at the Who concert there.) The venue always oversold tickets and oxygen was at a premium, usually. I saw 4 different shows there. This was the only one I didn't have to carry somebody out at!
Lots of great songs played here, amazing selection of tunes. US Blues always great.

I was at this show...what a party it was! The Dead in a tiny hockey rink, man, the building was shaking. I'm thrilled to find this here, it's always been one of my fondest dead moments.

The one and only appearance of the Dead on pristine Cape Cod? The the opener lasted nearly 20 minutes...2nd consecutive night of Franklin's. too bad the quality's not so hot; but then, it never was so great in that little skating rink (The CC Coleseum has been converted to a warehouse for the Christmas Tree Shops). It was high energy, big grins from Jerry, the less-than subtle introduction of Brent's synthesizer effects during space that made this show special. Cape Cod in October..one of those shows you had to work to get to...or should I say, quit your day job to get to.
